Welcome. You've found the neurodiverse-affirming depression therapy you're looking for.

If you're here, you probably don't feel great. You may feel numb, or you may feel hopeless. Alternately, you may feel, 'meh' or 'bleh' , or like something is off or wrong.

But, you're here right now, which means a part of you is thinking about making change. That's huge. Truly.

Our compassionate depression therapy is appropriate for mild to moderate depression. We are a proud neurodiverse-affirming depression therapy provider, but you don't have to be a neurodiverse person to begin therapy with us.

We offer virtual therapy in Pennsylvania for everyone 16+.

Depression Therapy

Do you feel hopeless, worthless, despondent or empty? Depression can change how you feel, behave and think. You may sleep or eat too much, or you may sleep or eat too little. You may feel like you've become a completely different person. It's possible you've even forgotten what life felt like before you were depressed.

That's why we're here. If you're struggling with depression, our neurodiverse-affirming depression therapy may help you find a path forward.

Things can look (and feel) different.

Depression & Your Circumstances

How much of your depression feels related to your environment, your lived experiences, and the story of your life?

Today, life is very difficult for many people. Housing is more expensive and food is more expensive. Many people live isolated lives without a sense of meaning or purpose, even if all their needs are met.

In therapy, we'll dig deep to understand your depression origin story. What life events happened? What expectations do you have for the future? What feels impossible? Alternately, what realistic changes can we help you make?

Realistic and pragmatic support is here, and we can help.

Depression & Autism

Did you know depression is more common in autistic people? Autistic struggles can lead to chronic frustration, low mood and feelings of isolation and confusion. Does this sound like you?

You may also experience challenges related to daily transitions, environments, masking and isolation. All of these factors (and more) can contribute to depression, low mood, and feelings of apathy, hopelessness or worthlessness. Autistic people with depression may be more likely to develop pronounced hyperfixations, withdraw socially, engage in self-harm, or engage in increased "stimming" behaviors.

We're here to help. Our neurodiverse-affirming depression therapy is at your fingertips.

Why should I choose neurodiverse-affirming therapy?

Why should you choose a neurodiverse-affirming therapy practice?

  • An open & inquisitive mindset:  Neurodiverse-affirming therapy does not assume you think or operate in a “standard” way. Neurodivergent people often experience the world differently, and our open-ended, curious approach can challenge default assumptions. This process supports insight and growth for neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals.

  • A focus on environments, systems and contexts:  Neurodivergent people frequently have to navigate environments that were not designed with them in mind. Rather than locating challenges solely within you, neurodiversity-affirming therapy explores how external systems and contexts contribute to your well-being. This perspective builds self-compassion and empathy, and it spurs the development of unique-to-you tools, strategies and supports.

  • Strengths-focused: Feeling different can make it difficult to recognize your strengths. Neurodiverse-affirming therapy helps you identify and amplify what you do well and what you take pride in. This, quite clearly, can have significant positive therapeutic benefits!
